HS: Hereby Do Will |
I, Adam Travis, hereby do will my heart to Jennifer Riedthaler, my chair in band to Tim Williams so he can PLATOON out, my jeep to Joey Markovitz, 1st period psychology with Laura Parsons to Jason Subjack, the speebus that tasted like fruit juices to John Zlocki and the rest of my friends to Jen Burdette. |
HS: I Will Always Remember |
I will always remember meeting Jen Riedthaler my junior year, then getting her, losing her, and then getting her back (Honey, I'm so glad I got you back. It was the best decision I ever made. I Love You, Riedthaler!), cold winter nights curled up with my Baby Doll, Band Camp 1992, the last bus ride home from States, Homecoming 1992 (Jen, you made it a night to remember), crying to Jen after Homecoming at 1:00 AM because I couldn't believe how much time we had wasted, the Thanksgiving Day hike (Jen, remember the log! You still owe me a million!), Christmas, the Rainforest, the Orange Couch, the bathroom at Brandywine Falls, a "nosy" park ranger, Playcuts 1992, leaving my mike on, "Summer Nights" and "Greased Lightning" (Maddock, we were choice!), Susan and her "X marks the spot," me, Maddock, and Piekarski cruising the park on a summer night, summer campouts (If you were there, you know who you are), the "Coyne" incident, SWAT practice with the cops, when Dr. Soul bought it on the Swiss Twist (among other hills), me, King, Conant, and Nano playing cards in 2nd period math class (Bye-Bye, Biros!), Ms. Cummings Algebra II class, 8th period speech with Weber, Potter, Manaska, Red, Murphy, Thaxton, Williams, and Dangerous Dave Esakov (meet you in the parking lot after school, Mr. Esakov), causing trouble in the Guidance Office, and "The Little Juicy Orange." |
HS: In Ten Years |
In ten years I will be a federal agent married to the finest flutist in the state: Jen Riedthaler, with 2.5 adopted Vietnamese children; Dan Maddock will be just as confused about his life then as he is now and will still be "unloading" 6 to 9 times a day, but we'll still be brothers; my best friend, Brian Piekarski, will be controversial but "choice" police officer on trial for using "excessive" force on gang members; Potter will still be a liberal trying to climb that unsurmountable brick wall; Subjack will still be drving that same piece of crap he's driving now; Mike King will not be President because everyone found out about the very "hairy" incident at my cast party; Mrs. Maxwell will still be helping troubled kids out of bad situations; Mrs. Mitchell will miss me and still blush when the word "Bush" comes up; and Nordonia High School will probably be non-existent due to repeated levy failures. |
